023: ARTIST SUCCESS STORY - MITZY RENOOY

'Don't make life perfect but make it interesting.'

Her collectors call her refreshing, her teachers tenacious and her student inspiring.

Dutch Master Artist, Mitzy Renooy, shares her artist story in my latest podcast.

In this episode you will hear how:

  • At the age of 49, Mitzy went to study at the Classical Academy in The Netherlands,
  • She has since graduated and has just opened her first ,widely successful exhibition at Gallery Bonnard in Nuenen,
  • Social Media is a challenge for artists and that she would rather be in her studio painting,
  • Snapshot moments are at the heart of her paintings inspired by photographs taken on her travels abroad,
  • Art plays an important part in our culture and that parents should encourage their children to create,
  • Adding an art teaching element to her art business gives her the freedom to create.

I have the sneaky feeling we will be hearing and seeing more from this gentle, big hearted artist.

Enjoy the podcast!
